Are the results permanent if I stop using it?
As a women, we always look for something that will give us an amazingly youthful dewy looking skin and fast. We flock to it, listen to any celebrity that swears by this new magic potion and will pay any amount of money for our own little fountain of youth. However, is there a beauty product out there that can permanently deliver fantastic skin? We get this question often. The short answer is - no. Nothing in life is permanent.
We are all in the hunt for that "magical" ointment that will reverse the hands of time, make us glow, and make everyone ask us what we have done differently. This leads us to buy into the $45.9 billion skin care industry. Some of the most expensive creams on the market are La Prairie Cellular Cream Platinum Rare $1,050 for 1.7 ounces and Cle De Peau Beaute La Crème $775 for 1.7 ounces. Miracles? Maybe. But even these premium priced products stop working once they are done being used.
Many products make the claim that they can give you that perfect skin, but nothing lasts forever, not even plastic surgery. However, as with anything as soon as you stop using it, it will stop working. It's just that simple. Beauty is a non-stop maintenance process. If you are trying to lose weight, you go on a diet and go to the gym.You end up losing some weight and feeling great, but then you may decide to stop going to the gym and stop dieting. At that point you may no longer continue to see weight loss and in fact you will probably start to see weight gain because you are not maintaining a weight loss routine. Same thing if you die your hair. You have to do a certain level of upkeep in order to maintain it. If you don't then you will have those horrible roots and gray hairs.
The same analogy is applied to skin care. Using skin care products can definitely turn back the clock and make you look brighter, healthier and younger, but the clock will keep on ticking. So grab your serums, lotions and creams and see their magic unfold every day.
